I had never had avocado fixed this way and we loved it. They really are different than others and we liked it immensely. This was also a first at having a Hatch Chile. We had the Lanzade Carne (Angus Beef Skewers with Cherry Tomatoes and Chimichurri), Patatas Bravas (Marble Potatoes), Aguacate (Flash fried Avocado with Pico de Gallo and Lime Crema) WOW!, Alcochofas (Marinated and Grilled half Artichoke) Wow again!, and the Hatch Chile Cheeseburger. several plates which is what I like about small plates because you get to try several dishes. Loved it that they had small and large plates. We dined on the front porch which is like the covered wood front porch of a house. This is a quaint place and apparently well loved. There are too many other places in Santa Fe that serve good food. Watched another table chase the waiter for something they needed. This has gone from being a great little restaurant that I have visited since early 70's when in town to what appears to be a place just looking to take orders as quickly as possible and service the bar crowd who had come to dance to live music. By this time music in bar so loud could not talk. Note, $5.50 for 4 slices of bread and specialty butter.įinally we were able to signal waiter to remind him of bread. We had neglected to order bread so requested then. We asked for salad delivered first to split, followed by husband's tapas entree. Service started off slow, but they were busy. at a table at the far end of the bar area closest to the dining room. Despite having a reservation 2 months in advance for the dining room, we were offered a high top only. Having been here several times, we had expectations of good food and service.
